Detailed description of goods and/or services

The Kampus Trust IT 1807/12 is a public benefaction organisation whose mandate is to mobilise funds for the education sector in aid of private education institutions such as Akademia, Sol-Tech and the School Support Centre (SOS).

REQUEST POLICY

Requests for an article 18A certificate will be processed within three to five working days from the date the payment reflects in the account; otherwise once a year for the previous tax season.

CUSTOMER PRIVACY POLICY

The Akademia endowment fund (skenkingsfonds) shall take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of users. For the purpose of this clause, “personal information” shall be defined as detailed in the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA). The PAIA legislation may be downloaded here.

PAYMENT OPTIONS

Payments may be made via Visa, MasterCard, Diners or American Express cards or by bank transfer into the Akademia endowment fund bank account, the details of which will be provided on request.

CARD ACQUIRING AND SECURITY

Card transactions shall be acquired for Kampus Trust via PayGate (Pty) Ltd who are the approved payment gateway for all South African acquiring banks. PayGate uses the strictest form of encryption, namely Secure Socket Layer 3 (SSL3) and no card details are stored on the website. Users may go to www.paygate.co.za view their security certificate and security policy.

CUSTOMER DETAILS SEPARATE FROM CARD DETAILS

The Akademia endowment fund will store customer details separately from the card details which is entered by the client on PayGate’s secure website. For more information on PayGate refer to www.paygate.co.za.

TRANSACTION CURRENCY

South Africa is the merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder. The transaction currency is South Africa Rand (ZAR).

RESPONSIBILITY

The Akademia endowment fund takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction including customer service and support.

COUNTRY OF DOMICILE (RESIDENCE)

This website is subject to and is governed by the laws of South Africa and the Akademia endowment fund as its domicilium citandi et executandi for all purposes under this agreement, whether in respect of court process, notice, or other documents or communications of whatsoever nature, Von Willich Avenue 284, Die Hoewes, Centurion, 0163

VARIATION

The Akademia endowment fund may, in its sole discretion, change this agreement or any part thereof at any time without notice.
